Speech and Debate

Big Questions

I have participated in Speech and Debate since Freshman year and have developed strong public speaking skills over the years. I have placed as a finalist 3 times in Original Oratory and placed 5th in Districts for Big Questions Debate.

Speech and Debate has taught me communication skills that I can use effectively in the real world. Each event requires different set of skills, such as being able to respond quickly and being able to remain calm under pressure.
